The Lyric
Taken late at night using a tripod, I combined several exposures to obtain the final result. The Lyric stands as a reminder of past Saturday matinees, date nights, and a community gathering place in the small town of Carrizozo, New Mexico. Today, with its name restored and lit as a beacon, it holds the promise of film festivals (Bogie and Bacall, anyone?), live performances and special events, thus reclaiming its unique and storied place in the community.
